Photographer • Storyteller • Trucker Who Finally Has Time to Aim Straight
I’ve been on the road for over forty years, long enough to see most of America in my rear view mirror. I hauled freight, chased schedules, and learned that life moves a little easier when you stop trying to outrun it.
Photography came late to me, just a few years ago. I wasn’t searching for a hobby; I just started noticing things. The way evening light hits an old bridge. The odd beauty of weeds pushing through concrete. The quiet humor in a reflection off a truck mirror.
Now that retirement is right around the corner, I’m slowing down long enough to share those moments. This site isn’t a portfolio or a lecture hall, it’s just a place where I post my photos, write a few stories, and share the lessons I’ve picked up along the way.
I’m not chasing followers or fame. I’m chasing clarity, in pictures, in words, and in life after the long haul.
My wife’s still my favorite travel companion, home is near Kansas City, and most of these shots are taken close to it. There’s plenty of beauty right here if you just bother to look.
So welcome, take your time, scroll around, and if one of these images or stories makes you pause for half a second, I’ll call that a good day.
